I have known the above company for approximately five years when they started to care for my elderly employer. Inevitably the level of care increased because of his age, deterioration in his health and the development of mild dementia until care was provided 24/7.

In this time, FCG have shown themselves to be dedicated, professional, alert and always willing to adapt to changing circumstances.

They have great sensitivity to the needs of the client and are adamant about matching a suitable carer to the client and do not try to force an unlikely match. As a result, there is a valuable continuity of care which ensures that the client does not get confused by personnel changes. As a result, their team of carers really do become part of the family.

FCG are always willing to help and be flexible and put the needs of the client and their family first. They are always contactable and approachable and willing to discuss even the most minor concern.

Myla is a key hands-on part of FCG and has constantly shown that she is resourceful, anticipates problems and willing to take initiatives. She is always well informed and aware of what is happening with the client which gives one great confidence. On a practical level, she has an invaluable knowledge of equipment and suppliers.
Her physiotherapy and medical training are also extremely valuable and enable her to deal with medical problems at the onset. It also means that doctors are comfortable in dealing with her.

In my experience of FCG, I have been constantly impressed by their voluntary willingness to “go the extra mile” and to help out often at their own inconvenience. This has been illustrated time and time again but especially during the coronavirus pandemic. They are kind and caring and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
